Naxos Development offers collection of UI components

Naxos Development's UI Components Collection is a set of more than 30 extended controls and components for the .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0. These add-ins were developed around an object model consistent with Microsoft's Design Guidelines for Class Library Developers. The list of components includes panels, containers, command bars, buttons and a custom set of WinForms controls. Developers can modify component styles such as border, background and graphic quality; in addition, components come with automated captions.

Infragistics releases two .NET development tools

December was a busy month for Infragistics, as the company released two .NET development products.
NetAdvangate for .NET 2006 Volume 3 lets developers create Windows Forms and Asp.NET applications. With this latest update, developers can use Visual Studio 2002, 2003 or 2005 to create UI elements with the look and feel of the new Office 2007.

Novell's Mono adds support for Microsoft Windows.Forms

Novell released the beta program for Mono 1.2, which now includes support for Microsoft Windows.Forms, to more easily port .NET client-side applications to Linux. Mono is a Novell-sponsored open source implementation of the .NET framework that helps developers migrate existing .NET applications to Linux. Other enhancements in this beta release include additional platform and hardware support and virtual machine upgrades.
